Auditing Performance Measure and Operational systems
Warehouses by their very nature are subject to change. Procedures change, fixtures are adjusted, aisle entry and exists are moved, equipment is upgraded, product mixes change etc. All of these things impact on the ability of your performance measurement system to accurately measure the productivity of your staff and your operation. For this reason, S&V suggests that clients have an audit of their labour standards every 18 months to 2 years in order to capture this change and adjust the standards. Failure to do so will result in too much or too little time being applied, both of which can have serious financial and industrial relations implications.
